On December 10, 1998, the Department General of Posts & Telecommunications (DGPT) issued the stamp set "6th ASEAN Summit - Hanoi’98," featuring a single stamp valued at 1,000 VND. The Summit aimed to enhance solidarity and cooperation among ASEAN nations, promoting peace and development. The stamp design, created by Mr. Do Lenh Tuan, symbolizes ASEAN's unity and collaboration. It includes a central ASEAN emblem surrounded by a geometrically shaped pink flower, representing friendship, while a white bird signifies peace. The artistic elements reflect the aspirations for balanced growth amid the economic and political transitions of the late 1990s.

Thailand : ASEAN Summit 1995

On 15 December 1995, a postage stamp with a denomination of 6.00 Baht was issued to promote the Fifth ASEAN Summit Meeting in Thailand, attended by leaders from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The stamp features a logo designed in a unique Thai style, symbolizing unity among the seven ASEAN member countries through the depiction of seven petals of Phanchaayarn. Additionally, it includes a piece of the 2.00 Baht ASEAN Environment Year 1995 Commemorative Postage Stamp. The design was created by Mr. Sawas Ponawasi and issued by the Philatelic Division of the Communications Authority of Thailand.
