Brunei : ASEAN Summit 2021

Brunei issued commemorative stamps for the 2021 ASEAN Summit, highlighting its chairmanship. Released on October 26, 2021, the stamps feature themes of nature, connectivity, and unity. The first stamp, in green, focuses on sustainability with forest landscapes and the Sultan’s portrait, symbolizing environmental priorities. The blue second stamp represents development and infrastructure, conveying stability and regional cooperation. The third stamp, in red, emphasizes unity and shared prosperity through dynamic patterns. All stamps share common design elements, including the ASEAN emblem and member states’ flags, illustrating the commitment to collaboration and collective aspirations within Southeast Asia.

Design:

🔹 Stamp 2: Development and infrastructure . Depicting a modern bridge and infrastructure, this stamp represents connectivity among ASEAN member states, encompassing transportation, economic integration, and regional cooperation.

The blue tone conveys stability, trust, and a forward-looking vision for ASEAN’s collective future

🔹 Stamp 3: Unity and Shared Prosperity . Dynamic radiating patterns dominate the design, symbolizing energy, unity, and collective strength within the ASEAN Community.

The red color reflects determination, vitality, and the commitment of ASEAN nations to progress and shared prosperity, aligning with the “Prosper” pillar of the summit theme.
